Meet the Line Epping Neighbourhood

The Line Epping area in Glen Innes Central will be a neighbourhood of complementary contrast. Green, yet urban. Just minutes’ walk from a vibrant town centre, but woven through with plentiful natural spaces.

One hundred and twenty-two modern, beautiful new homes are coming to the area, including state homes, homes for sale on the open market, and secure, long-term rental homes. With them comes big improvements to infrastructure, parks, and the natural environment. Three key roads (Epping Street, Delemere Place and Harlow Street) are being made safer for bikes, kids and walkers. You might have seen all the work that’s been going on in Taniwha Reserve, where boardwalks will weave their way through the reserve, past play spaces, places to gather, and places to rest.

We’re working alongside the Tāmaki community and our partners to bring more homes, parks and playgrounds, infrastructure, transport, education and jobs - so that everyone in Tāmaki can flourish and grow. Over the next month or two, we want to introduce you to the six neighbourhoods of Tāmaki that are closest to completion - Line Epping, Derna Tobruk, Hīnaki, Overlea, West Tāmaki and Dunkirk.
